SAFER RECRUITMENT IN EDUCATION - THE PE PARTNER COACHING PATHWAY

We think it's important that our recruitment process is clear so we've put together this simple flow chart. Answer this few simple questions and follow the pathway that is right for you.

I have a level 2 NGB (or equivalent) sports or dance coaching qualification

This is part of the minimum deployment standards required to lead a group, so if you have it we might be able to offer you paid work to deliver sessions as part of our team. Once we've received your application form we'll be in touch to organise an interview session for you to attend.		Don't worry, this isn't the end of the journey, it's just the start. We can help to signpost you to relevant courses and help you gain experience as a coach. Just complete the application form and join the FB group and you'll receive ongoing support as a coach.
Were you successful at the interview stage?

If your interview goes well we'll then do everything in line with Safer Recruitment in Education and get you on board as a vetted and approved member of the team. This will include taking up referneces for you; asking you to carry out a DBS check with us and arranging your PE Partner kit, photo id and acess to your own PE Partner webspace.		We'll provide everyone who attends an interview session with feedback, so if there is something we fele you need to work on before you are ready to work for us we'll let you know what it is and give you advice on how you can gain the extra expereince you need. Chances are you'll then be invited to another interview day when you feel ready.
You are ready to go, what happens next?
We'll offer you sessions to match your availablity and your location and give you all the information you need to deliver successful sessions as part of the team. You'll sign off your sessions through the website and then we'll make payment into your bank account by BAC transfer. If we do not offer you any sessions withiin 3 months of you coming on board we will refund the money you have paid to do the DBS certificate.
